About Me

I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio where I played soccer most of my life.  In the 6th grade a friend convinced me to tag along to one of the first girls lacrosse teams being formed in the area.  I continued played soccer and lacrosse up until High School where I decided to give up soccer to focus on lacrosse.  I made Varsity as a freshman and continued to play and run clinics in the off season through my senior year.  Unfortunately, I injured my knee leading into my senior season and was unable to play my final year.

I graduated high school in 2010, and attended Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina (Go Tigers!!).  At Clemson I major in Bioengineering.  I played club lacrosse my freshman year, however I decided I needed more time to focus on my degree and did not continue with the club lacrosse team.  I graduated in May 2014, and shortly after moved to Warsaw, IN to work in the orthopaedic industry.  I currently work for Wright Medical (formerly Tornier) as an R&D engineer.

I have always had a passion for teaching and helping others grow.  I am especially excited to take on this new role as an assistant coach.  My true passion is fundamentals and helping players grow and improve.  My goal as a coach is to help provide support for Lauren, and to assist in fundamentals for younger players and the development of the more senior girls on the team.

I look forward to meeting you all!

Assistant Coach
Alexis Digiovanni

I grew up in Chicago Heights, Illinois. I started to play my sophomore year of high school then shortly joined Players Indoor Club Lacrosse out of Naperville, IL. I have played attack for a total of 7 years, 4 of those years while getting my degree in Business Management with a minor in graphic design at Indiana Tech. While at Tech, I had the pleasure of playing along side Coach Allard all four of those years with us both being captains as seniors.

I spent the last year and a half as Assistant Coach at Indiana Tech and am now glad I can help the younger girls find a love and passion for a game that made me the person I am today. I am a firm believer in a saying a coach once told me, "practice how you would play." I hope to teach the girls that 100% effort on the practice field will lead them to a successful season, and as always hard work pays off!
